WE PREPARE THEM FOR KINDERGARTEN.
When you enter our Dinosaur classroom, you'll notice writing and art all over the place. There are labels everywhere to help children link letters to words. Additionally, there are photos on the walls that depict the families in our neighborhood. Among the highlights of the program are
-
Letter Recognition, Sound Recognition, Calendar, Weather, Days of the Week, Shapes, and Color Recognition.
-
Writing the ABCs
-
Your child will learn to Read, Write and Spell their name in our Dinosaur classroom, and you will see it all over their artwork! We'll also practice our ABCs by describing people, places, experiences, and feelings with letters and pictures.
-
-
Friendship and Emotions
- As your child prepares for kindergarten social skills are emphasized in our Dinosaur classroom. Your child will practice talking through difficult emotions and settling disagreements with words. They'll also discuss themselves and their families, as well as their similarities and differences.
- Circle Time
- Every day, Circle Time takes place in each of our classes. Our Educator in the Dinosaur Classroom utilizes Circle Time as a way of communication for the children to express themselves, talk about their day, what they ate for dinner at home, their likes and dislikes, open-ended questions about the story, some sign language, and some Chinese.
- Creating Art and Performing Music
- At this age, artistic expression comes to life! Children may express themselves via all of the painting methods, move around while following multi-step directions, and play instruments while making up songs!
-
Outdoor Playtime
-
Most of our students, including infants, spend 20-30 minutes outside at least twice a day, weather permitting. In addition to unstructured activity, our Dinosaurs will make maps, stretch, and play games!

OUR PROGRAM
The idea that children learn best through play is represented in the architecture of each classroom, which includes learning stations that encourage choice and freedom. This setting fosters exploration while also providing comfort in the ability to choose. The environment promotes independence and the development of self-esteem. Our Pre-Kindergarten program was created to ensure that our kids are well-prepared for Kindergarten. Literacy emphasizes a balanced approach to phonics and full language. Math skills are learned via hands-on experience and manipulating experiments.
