INFANTS

(6 weeks to 18 months)

At Brighter Minds Academy 2, we recognize the significance of interactions with infants during this crucial stage of their development. We provide a secure and caring atmosphere for infants in our program to aid in their growth and development. Among the highlights of the program are:

  • A shoe-free environment designed for children.

  • Keeping cribs clear and free

  • Personalized care plans to accommodate daily routines, nutritional guidelines, and other special requirements.

  • Sensory-rich environments and soft areas to roll over, pull up, and crawl.

  • Feeding schedules that are adaptable to your infant's needs

  • Exploration Baskets

    • Infants learn about the world by touching and feeling new things! Our exploration baskets contain everyday things in a variety of textures, shapes, and sizes. Teachers will attentively monitor your infant as they explore!​

  • Art Activities

    • To stimulate creativity, use finger painting, music, and pretend play.

  • Circle Time

    • Every day, infants gather as a group for songs, story books, and lots of opportunities to engage with their peers and teachers. Group activities mirror the specific subject of the month, such as colors, music, or animals!

  • Outdoor Playtime

    • Most of our students, including infants, spend 20-30 minutes outside at least twice a day, weather permitting. Outdoor playing is a lot of fun for babies and helps them grow up large and strong

INFANT DEVELOPMENTAL MILESTONES 

  • Roll Over, Sit Up, Use Support to Stand Up, and Use Support to Walk

  • Raises Head

  • Rotating the Head from Side to Side

  • Face, Object, and Voice Recognition

  • Interacts with Familiar Adults

  • Turns head towards the sound of your voice

  • Rolls from tummy to back

Brighter Minds Academy 2  not only gives newborns emotional support but also a safe and exciting early learning environment that stimulates their curiosity. Our infant program facilities stimulate a newborn's movement, exploration, and communication. Music and story time are everyday activities in the infant room.
